Registration Continues for Senior Bulk Pickup

Township officials reminded residents that registration for its curbside bulk-waste collection program remains open through July 31.

The service is available to senior residents, with pickups scheduled by geographic area during four weeks in August. Residents may register online or contact the Department of Public Works for assistance.

Montgomery also offers a free Friday shopping shuttle for senior citizens and adults with disabilities. The service provides curbside transportation to local grocery stores between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and includes assistance carrying up to four grocery bags to a participant’s door.
