MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Montgomery Township Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to consider an application involving changes at the Nassau Tennis Club during its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 24.
The meeting, set for 7:00 p.m., will include review of Case BA-04-25, submitted by the Nassau Tennis Club for property located at Block 20001, Lot 6.
According to the agenda, the applicant is seeking a minor site plan approval and a use variance to allow for the addition of a pickleball court, which would replace an existing outdoor pool on the property.
The proposal reflects the continued growth in popularity of pickleball, a sport that has seen increased demand in communities across the region. However, because the proposed use differs from existing site conditions, zoning relief is required for the project to move forward.
As part of the public process, residents will have the opportunity to provide comments during the meeting before any decision is made by the board.
The application currently carries an expiration date of May 28, 2026, indicating the timeframe within which action must be taken.
Residents interested in the proposal or wishing to participate in the discussion are encouraged to attend the meeting.
