Montgomery School District Mourns Sudden Loss of Transportation Employee Charles “Chuck” Kletz

District provides space for employees to gather, grieve and remember longtime colleague
MONTGOMERY, NJ — The Montgomery Township School District is mourning the sudden death of Charles “Chuck” Kletz, a beloved member of the district’s Transportation Department who passed away Friday.
News of Kletz’s death has left the department devastated as coworkers remember a valued colleague and friend.
Superintendent Mary McLoughlin, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Kelly Mattis, Transportation Supervisor Dwayne Washington-Velazquez and Business Administrator Andrew Italiano are supporting employees as they cope with the unexpected loss.
The district will make conference room space available Monday, July 20, for Transportation Department employees to gather in remembrance, share stories and grieve together.
Employees are also being reminded that confidential support is available through the district’s Employee Assistance Program at no cost. The program, offered through Penn Medicine Princeton Health, provides counseling, emotional support and grief counseling to district employees.
