MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP — The Montgomery Township Planning Board held its annual reorganization meeting on January 12, voting to reappoint its leadership team and formally adopting its meeting schedule for 2026.
Board member Dave Campeas was unanimously reappointed as chair following a nomination and second from fellow board members. With no other nominations put forward, the board closed nominations and approved Camp’s return to the role on a roll-call vote.
“It was a hard-fought battle, but thank you, everybody,” Campeas said, stressing the seriousness with which he approaches the position. He noted that the past year had been a “challenging year” for the board and said he was proud of the work the body accomplished.
The board then turned to the vice chair position, unanimously appointing Arun Mani, a motion that drew two quick seconds and no additional nominations.
For secretary, Sarah Roberts was nominated and seconded without opposition. After confirming that she accepted the nomination, the board approved her appointment on a unanimous roll-call vote.
With its officers in place, the Planning Board adopted its annual meeting resolution, setting its regular public meetings for 2026 on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings will be held in the Montgomery Township Municipal Building, located at 100 Community Drive, Skillman, N.J.
According to the resolution read into the record, all interested persons may attend and be heard at these meetings. Any special work sessions scheduled during the year will be separately noticed in accordance with legal requirements.
The reorganization actions clear the way for the Planning Board to continue its work on land use, development applications and long-range planning matters affecting the township in the year ahead.
