Boys Lacrosse Dominates WW-P North with Explosive Offense
The Montgomery High School boys lacrosse team found their stride Tuesday evening, delivering a commanding 14-3 victory over West Windsor-Plainsboro North at Cougar Stadium. The win brings the Cougars’ record to 3-9 on the season. Colin Long had a breakout performance, leading the scoring charge with five goals and an assist. He was flanked by strong contributions from Patrick Petrozzini and Will Schwartz, who both notched hat tricks. Petrozzini also showcased his playmaking ability, tallying five assists in the contest. Montgomery controlled the pace of the game from start to finish, executing efficiently on offense and putting together one of their most complete performances of the season.

Softball Falls to Bound Brook in Run-Rule Loss
Montgomery softball couldn’t keep pace with a potent Bound Brook lineup on Tuesday, falling 14-6 in a run-rule shortened game at home. Despite an eight-hit effort from the Cougars, the Crusaders’ bats proved too much, racking up 14 hits and seizing control early. Connor Fogarty continued to shine at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a single, triple, two RBIs, and a run scored. Ryane Riddell also turned in a solid offensive showing, collecting two singles and an RBI in three trips. However, it was a rough outing in the circle for the Cougars. Riddell started and lasted two innings, allowing 12 earned runs on 10 hits. Fogarty followed, struggling with control issues—she walked seven and allowed six earned runs in just 1.2 innings without giving up a hit. Nicolette Shackelford closed out the game with 1.1 innings of relief, giving up one run on one hit.
