
Montgomery Boys Tennis Sweeps Bridgewater-Raritan in Dominant 5-0 Victory

Montgomery, NJ — The Montgomery High School boys tennis team delivered a commanding performance on their home courts Monday afternoon, sweeping Bridgewater-Raritan 5-0 to improve their season record to 3-1. The visiting Panthers, meanwhile, slipped to 1-4 on the year.
Led by strong showings across the board, the Cougars left little room for doubt as they controlled the match from start to finish.

In singles play, Juan Miguel Pereyra set the tone with a clinical 6-1, 6-1 victory over Siddarth Balasubramanian at first singles. Daksh Bahl followed suit, overpowering Brandon Wu 6-1, 6-0 in the second singles slot. Ethan Qian rounded out the singles sweep with a solid 6-3, 6-2 win against Gurucharan Mannur.

Montgomery’s doubles teams kept the momentum rolling. Himneesh Sharma and Advaith Molakaseema outplayed Devon Patel and Nicholas Brauchle 6-3, 6-3 at first doubles. At second doubles, Arvin Pingili and Srikar Bavigadda clinched the final point for the Cougars with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Aditya Shetty and Asher Joseph.
