MHS Boys Basketball Secures a 50-43 Win Over Westfield

The Montgomery Cougars boys basketball team continues to dominate the Skyland Conference, securing a hard-fought 50-43 victory over Westfield on Friday night. This victory not only adds to their winning streak but also boosts their season record to an impressive 6-1.

Leading the charge was Bohdan Biekietov, who delivered an outstanding performance with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Biekietov’s presence on the court proved crucial in both offense and defense, helping the Cougars maintain control during critical moments of the game.

Ethan Lin provided valuable support with 10 points and 3 rebounds, showcasing his skill in key scoring opportunities. Christian Hill contributed 8 points and 2 rebounds, adding depth to the team’s offensive efforts.

Mike Simborski also played a pivotal role, scoring 6 points, including a decisive three-point play in the final minutes of the game.
