Montgomery, NJ — On a wet and drizzly evening at Cougar Stadium, the Montgomery High School boys lacrosse team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Hightstown 13–4 in a game that showcased offensive firepower and defensive grit.

Leading the way for the Cougars was senior Colin Long, who put on a clinic with five goals, one assist, and four ground balls, dominating the attack zone despite the soggy conditions. Patrick Petrozzini was right behind him, contributing four goals, one assist, and three ground balls, helping to keep the pressure on Hightstown from the opening whistle.
Zach Mutton and Will Schwartz each added a pair of goals to round out the scoring for Montgomery, who controlled the tempo and possession throughout much of the game.
Between the pipes, Xander Mancilla had a standout performance making 13 saves while allowing just four goals and picking up a ground ball, anchoring a defense that held strong even as the rain came down steadily.
