Northeast Shooters Association Archery Hits the Mark in Montgomery Area
Nicholas Mistretta
Archery may not be the first sport that comes to mind when thinking about Montgomery’s athletic scene, but a relatively new organization is working hard to change that. The Northeast Shooters Association, founded in March 2024, is quickly establishing itself as a home for both newcomers and seasoned archers in the community.
The group operates two facilities: an indoor range in Hillsborough at 1 Jill Court, Building 16, Unit 4, and an outdoor range many residents may have noticed at Lubas Field on Route 601, open from April through August.

Owned and operated by Erik Bramble, KC Chiu, Marissa Scalzo, and Sean Chan, the association is committed to making the sport both accessible and enjoyable for all ages. “Archery is the fastest growing Olympic sport,” Bramble told Headline News Montgomery, “and it’s also one of the top three safest sports.”
The program welcomes participants ages 6 through adult and offers a variety of opportunities:
- Quarterly classes that run for eight weeks
- Kids’ summer camps
- Tournaments and competition development teams
- Group sessions, private parties, and pro shop services
The organization also boasts a highly qualified coaching staff, with instructors certified at levels two, three, and four, ensuring a professional and structured experience for all skill levels.

As archery continues to grow in popularity, Northeast Shooters Association hopes more Montgomery residents will discover its appeal. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, a safe sport for your child, or a pathway into competition, this local business is aiming to provide just that.
