Montgomery, NJ – After a heartbreaking loss to St. Rose last Saturday, the Montgomery Cougars boys’ varsity basketball team bounced back in emphatic fashion with a commanding 81-60 victory against New Brunswick at home on Wednesday night. Leading the charge was senior Bohdan Biekietov, who delivered a stellar performance with 30 points, dominating on both ends of the court. Ethan Lin also shone brightly, scoring 16 points, including four three-pointers. Christian Hill contributed a solid 12 points, while Connor Benedict and Braden Ginsberg chipped in with six points apiece. Mike Simborski and Kyryl Streltsov added five points each to round out a well-balanced team effort.

The Cougars established an early lead and maintained their intensity throughout the game, coming up big in the 3rd quarter, outscoring New Brunswick 24-7. The win restored momentum as they gear up for Immaculata tonight at 5:30 p.m. at home. The Cougars are now 11-2 on the season.
